Richmond "Avenue of Flags"

Honor A Veteran Now!
To become a sponsor, you can sign up quickly online by clicking the donate button below. You will be directed to the Wayne County Veterans Council Secure PayPal Site. After your payment is accepted, you will be redirected to the Avenue of Flags website to fill out information about the soldier you are honoring. Alternatively, you can mail a sponsor form by clicking here.
Wayne County Veterans Council
You've seen the American Flags on the National Road Bridge, Main Street Bridge and the US 27 Overpass on 9th Street and what an impact they make to all those living in and visiting this ALL AMERICAN CITY!
Help the Wayne County Veterans Council Honor OUR Veterans
by Sponsoring a Flag in Honor of a Veteran!
400 American Flags will connect these bridges with Flags starting at I-70 and running down Chester Boulevard (US 27) and circling the Downtown area on both North "A" and South "A" (US 40 National Road Highway). Visitors to Richmond will be able to follow American Flags all the way to "Veterans Park" in the center of Downtown Richmond.
Your tax-deductible gift of $50 or more will sponsor one of these wonderful flags. You can honor the Veteran or Veterans of your choice. All veterans' names will be listed on the www.RichmondAvenueofFlags.com website.
Business Sponsorships Available, too! Many businesses are sponsoring in honor of their employees and Veterans in their employees' families! $100 "Sergeant" - $250 "Lieutenant Colonel" - $500 "Major General" - $1,000 "Four-Star General" - $5,000 "Commander in Chief"
Verification of Military Service may be requested.
Contact Project Coordinator Roger Stinson at 765-966-0918 or Marshall Smith, President of Wayne County Veterans Council at (765) 973-9207 for additional information.
